Richard G. “Ricki” Huguenor

Of Houston, TX, formerly of Newfane , NY entered into rest Thursday, January 31, 2013 In Houston, TX. He was born in Daytona Beach, FL April 9, 1992. Ricki graduated from Newfane Central School Class of 2010. He played different sports throughout his school years, including baseball, soccer, wrestling and lacrosse. He earned many awards and trophies for his achievements in sports. Rick also received a Certificate of Achievement in 2008 for the Highest Average in CAD/Engine Design, and an NCCC Advanced Placement certificate for CAD and Robotics in his senior year. Rick enjoyed music, reading, video games, cooking and all kinds of sports. At the time of his death, Rick was working at Wisenbaker Builder Services as a Saw Jet Operator for granite. Ricki’s kind manner and sweet and charming smile made him many friends throughout his life, and he was a loyal friend, sometimes to a fault. He touched so many people with small kindnesses and he will be remembered and missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Left to cherish his memory are his parents Angela (Joshua) Gelyon, and Richard (Heather) Huguenor. He also leaves behind his beloved brothers and sister, Joseph, Andrew, and Maxim Gelyon, of Newfane, NY and Avery and Wyatt Huguenor of Cypress, TX, all of whom he loved so very much, his grandparents, Ronald and Maureen (McInerney) Sterns, Clifford and Karen (McCabe) Huguenor, Michael (Nancy) Williams of Ormond Beach, FL and Cindy (Clayton) LaRoche of South Daytona FL; also many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was pre-deceased by his grandfather James Gelyon. Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY FRIDAY 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be private on Saturday. Burial will be in North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria, NY.
